Grade-level Proficiency Levels

Academic Achievement

 

Having clear standards ensures student success. Students are expected to master behavioral and academic objectives throughout kindergarten.

The numbers below are used to indicate a student’s proficiency based on Montana Content Standards, individual testing, and observations.

 1    = Minimal Mastery of Standard

The student has not met the objective.  Currently, intensive support is needed to meet grade-level expectations.

 2    = Progressing Toward Mastery of Standard

The student is beginning to meet the objective.  Currently, support is needed to meet grade-level expectations.

 3    = Mastery of Standard

The student regularly demonstrates proficiency of the current objective.

 X = Not Assessed

The objective is not assessed at this time.
