New School Parking Map

posted Aug 31, 2011 3:49 PM by Greg Hamley   [ updated Sep 3, 2011 9:25 AM ]

As the 2011-2012 school year gets underway, we want to update you on how to best to access the school for the upcoming year. You can access the school from the north or the south.

From the South (Huffine & Monforton School Road)
1. We recommend that if you are dropping off or picking up children, access the school from Huffine and use the south parking lot. The parent drop-off and pick-up runs east to west along the little school.
2. Please note that busses park in front of the little school. This area is painted red and is for busses and emergency vehicles only.

From the North (Baxter or Circle F Trail & Monforton School Road)
1. As the construction area will be fenced off, this area is open for pedestrians and bicycles. If accessing the school from the north, you can drop your child off at the bus barn. If you have younger children, we do not recommend dropping off here while the irrigation ditch runs, unless you accompany them.

This situation is for this year only. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Monforton School is hosting what we hope will become an annual event. Parents and Students are working toward raising funds to send our 8th grade class to Washington D.C. to receive a “hands-on” lesson in how our government works.
